Boyzone back to Jakarta!

The only reason why I write this, just because there's so many things to remember. And I knew its better to write it down before I forget, hahahah. Gw ga suka nonton konser. Apalagi klo nontonnya butuh effort, males ngantri, males desek-desekannya, males bayarnya juga sih, hehe. Satu-satunya konser yang gw pingin tonton sebenernya konsernya Michael Buble. Tp pas kemarin dia konser di Jakarta, gw ga nonton juga gara-gara lokasinya jauh beneeerrr. Jadi pas adik gw ngajakin buat nonton konsernya Boyzone, I;m not that excited. I missed the presale  ticket because of that, tapi akhirnya beli juga daripada adik gw ngamuk, hehe. The point is, I don't have any expectation at all. Gw suka dengan lagunya Boyzone, but I'm not really a big fan of them. Till the day the concert was held, gw cuman hapal dua nama dari personil boyzone : Ronan dan Stephen. And you know why.

That's before the concert. After the concert finish, you know what happen? I told my sister 'I dont wanna go home. I wanna see them again!' dan adik gw cuman ngeliat gw dengan tampang puas yang dia gak perlu ngomong juga gw tahu apa maksudnya. Seolah-olah di mukanya tertulis 'Gw bilang juga apa, gak rugi kan nonton konsernya Boyzone?'. But yeah, Boyzone is Boyzone. Nonton konsernya bring back lots of memories from my teens era. Itu lagu-lagu jaman gw SMP sampe kuliah. Dan gw rasa semua orang yang nonton konser boyzone jumat kemarin juga bernostalgia dengan lagu-lagu lama mereka. The song at their golden era. I'm pretty much surprised how I really enjoying their performance. Gw ikutan nyanyi, gw teriak-teriak, gw tepuk tangan sampe rasanya tangan gw sakit semua, hahahhaha.

Padahal klo dipikir-pikir, konser mereka kemarin itu quite simple. Gak neko-neko. Ga ada opening act. Dua jam penuh, mereka nyanyi dan cukup komunikatif. In between their performance, they said hello to their fans, dan their frank statement klo ini pertama kalinya mereka kembali ke Asia setelah 18 tahun. And they were back without Stephen and how they were struggling enough to manage their band since Stephen is one of the lead vocal beside Ronan. But Stephen is part of the band and will always be. Gw suka banget waktu mereka bawain lagu 'Everyday I love you' and make it like Stephen were there. Its like they sing the song together and it was really touching moment. (Adik gw sampe nangis-nangis pas lagu ini dinyanyiin). Gw bukan fans nya Stephen, tapi I'm bit speechless to see how the boyz make it like his presence is still around. Mereka bilang 'Stephen is not gone. Whenever we gather and perform, he's here with us'

Boyzone sing some old song, some of their new song which I'm not really familiar with. I don't even know they have new song! Tapi lumayan puas lahh nyanyi (lebih tepatnya teriak) bareng untuk lagu-lagu yang populer di jamannya dulu. Closingnya asli smart! They choose to close their performance with their old song : A Different beat dan Love me for a reason. Begitu lagu a different beat dinyanyikan the entire istora itu nyanyi bareng! Dan pas mereka bilang the last song is their favorite : love me for a reason, semua di istora itu spontan berdiri! Even yang duduk manis di VIP seat. Dan kita jingkrak jingkrak plus nyanyi bareng, hahahhahaha, gokil. Itu laguuuu jaman 90's dan almost feels like we're back to that era.

Overall, I had a great time. And yes, the concert was definitely worth the wait (18 years!). I don't think they will go back to their golden era like it used to be, but it's really good to have them back, no matter what. Welcome back the Boyz!
